How drawings & winners work

How Raffles Work

Raffles are random drawings where participants purchase tickets and one or more winners are selected. Each ticket represents an equal chance to win. The host sets the prize structure and conducts the drawing.

Raffle Types

Single Drawing

One winner is drawn from all tickets. Perfect for a simple raffle with one prize.

Multiple Drawings

Multiple winners are drawn in sequence. Great for raffles with several prizes or rounds.

Prize Options

Hosts can define prizes in multiple ways:

Fixed Prize

Set dollar amount per winner (e.g., $100)

Percentage Prize

Winner gets a % of total ticket sales

Custom Prize

Non-monetary prize (e.g., gift card, item)

Ticket System

Ticket Bundles

Hosts create pricing tiers (e.g., 1 ticket for $10, 5 for $45).

Sequential Assignment

Each purchase is assigned consecutive ticket numbers automatically.

Random Selection

Winners are selected via fair random drawing from all assigned ticket numbers.

No Reassignment

If a participant is removed, their ticket numbers are removed permanently and not reassigned.
